劣性遺伝（潜性遺伝）

ライソゾーム病の一種で、致死性の全身性疾患です。罹患猫は小脳性の運動失調、振戦、眼振といった様々な重篤な神経症状を示すほか、成長遅延や顔貌異常もみられます。症状は重篤で、通常は生後６ヶ月以内に死んでしまいます。

現在のところ、根治的な治療法はありません。
